Seven Emmy Awards Later: Why We Continue Telling Stories That Matter

On June 20, 2026, we received two new Emmy Awards during the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Regional Emmy Awards ceremony, better known as the Capital Emmy Awards.

With these honors, we reached a total of seven Emmy Awards since this journey began in 2018.

Yet, as I watched that number grow, I found myself thinking about something entirely different.

I wasn’t thinking about the awards.

I was thinking about the stories.

Because when I look back, I realize that none of these recognitions began in front of a camera, inside an editing room, or during an awards ceremony.

They all began with a person.
A family.
A patient.
A community.
A cause.
A story that needed to be told.

From Venezuelan Television to Washington, D.C.

My career in media began long before founding Bravo Media Corp.

In Venezuela, I had the opportunity to work alongside outstanding television professionals, participate in entertainment, production, and fiction programs, and learn the power a well-told story has to connect with people.

I worked on productions with Maite Delgado, participated in nationally broadcast television programs, and was part of dramatic productions aired by Venevisión and Radio Caracas Televisión.

When I immigrated to the United States, I continued that journey from a new perspective.

In Washington, D.C., I had the opportunity to be part of Buenos Días D.C., the first and only daily live Spanish-language morning show broadcast for several years in the nation’s capital.

That experience allowed me to witness firsthand the stories of thousands of immigrants, community leaders, nonprofit organizations, and families working quietly to build a stronger community.

Without realizing it, that was where the philosophy that would later become Bravo Media Corp. began to take shape.

The Birth of Bravo Media Corp.

When I founded Bravo Media Corp. in 2018, many people believed it was simply a video production agency.

Over time, we evolved.

Today, we are a digital growth agency that helps businesses and organizations expand through content strategy, websites, SEO, digital advertising, and lead generation systems.

But there is one thing we have never wanted to lose:

The ability to tell stories.

That is why we continue to maintain a division dedicated to documentaries, investigative features, and productions with social impact.

It is a division that often goes beyond commercial logic.

It is driven by conviction.

Some stories simply deserve to exist.

A Year of Recognition

The Emmy Awards were not the only honors we received this year.

During 2026 we also received:

What excites me most is that many of these awards come from projects whose primary purpose is not to sell a product.

Their purpose is to create impact.
To help.
To educate.
To transform.

What's Next

We are currently preparing the release of new documentaries developed alongside nonprofit organizations, including a medical mission in El Salvador with Healing Hands Foundation and a new production for the Montgomery County Collaboration Council.

Different stories.
Different people.
Different challenges.
But the same mission:

To continue using the power of communication to amplify voices that deserve to be heard.

Beyond the Awards

Seven Emmy Awards are an incredible honor.

But when I think about these past few years, I don’t remember the statues.

I remember the interviews.
The trips.
The late nights editing.
The difficult conversations.
The tears in front of the camera.
The patients.
The families.
The immigrants.
The survivors.
The organizations that work every day to improve the lives of others.

If these years have taught me anything, it is that stories have power.

And as long as there are stories that need to be told, we will continue telling them.

Thank you to every organization, journalist, producer, collaborator, client, and community that has trusted us to help share their message.

These seven Emmy Awards belong to you as well.
